Management and Vision
Fortify is founded by a group of individuals
with vast experience in IT and Business Services.
The management of the company has an average of
20+ years of experience in providing IT services
and solutions to Fortune 2000 customers across
a spectrum of industries. This management group
is led by Rajkumar Velagapudi, CEO & President.
Mr. Velgapudi has over 20 years of experience
in the IT industry. Until recently he has served
as President of Ness Innovative Business Services
group and member of the executive management team
of Ness Technologies since March 2006. In that
role, Mr. Velagapudi was actively involved in
corporate development, strategy, mergers and acquisitions.
Raj has also played the role of President of Ness
India and drove the consolidation of Ness’s India
delivery centers in Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad
and Chennai on to a single operational platform
of 3,000 resources.
From December 1990 to March 1998, Mr. Velagapudi
served in several roles, ultimately as senior
vice president, business development, at Covansys
Corporation, an IT services firm. In this capacity,
Raj was instrumental in opening state-of-the-art
delivery centers in India and Manila, Philippines.
From 1989 to 1990, Mr. Velagapudi served as senior
program manager with Siba Software Services, a
software development services firm supporting
the financial services vertical. Mr. Velagapudi
holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the
University of Madras, India.
